A bunch of wicked vids for scratch heads to watch

I run a forum called Digital Vertigo. We recently started a battle on there, that's sponsored by DJ-Tech. The round 1 entry videos have just been posted up, so if you want to check them out, you can do it here (no sign up is required to watch the vids): -

Or check out a YouTube playlist of the videos here: -

How many rounds is it? Are the finalists of this round go to the next round or is it like the DMC online battle where each round is a fresh batch of contestants?

    Here's the format: -

Round 1 = the DJs cut for 60 seconds over a beat of their choosing. Judging is a mix of peer judging (but not public voting!) and via a panel of 5 judges, weighted in favour of the judging panel. The peer votes count for 3/8 of the vote and the judges' votes count for the other 5/8 so all of the peer votes combined have the same weight as 3 judges. The top 8 progress to round 2.

Round 2 = the top 8 DJs from round 1 are paired up randomly into 4 x 1 Vs. 1 head to head match-ups. They cut for 60 seconds over a beat that's provided. Judging is done by a panel and the top 4 progress.

Round 3 = same deal as round 2 basically, except there's 2 pairs of DJs and they cut it up for 90 seconds over a beat that's provided.

Round 4 = the final. Only 2 DJs are left and they battle head to head over 3 rounds of 90 seconds. A different beat is provided per round. The winner of each round is decided by the regular judging panel, as well as a bunch of extra "celebrity guest" judges, so there's 11 judges in total for the final rounds.

    Here's the round 2 playlist: -

    http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...kUo02975ath0xF

    There's 6 videos and the 3 match-ups are: -

    Fakser Vs. Mighty Atom
    waxdestroyer Vs. CHINMACHINE
    JesusKut Vs. Backtrack

The videos will play through in that order.

FlipFlop had to drop out at the last minute, so Dopez (who placed 9th in round 1) gets to jump back in and take his place, but his match-up against IQ will be posted at a later date.
