Work and life in general makes it a challenge to commit to such an occasion. If you guys do however need someone to bulk out the tournament and having trouble finding someone, I'll put my hat in the ring.

I don't understand the last track/time stipulation. Can somebody explain?

From what I'm getting, the last track has to be mixed in or around the 30/45/60 minute mark depending on the round?

I want to enter, but I can't come up with a mixset a "fair" way.. so I am not eligible.

I sold my hardware last year, and haven't had money to replace it. So if I did a set, it would be an Ableton Live set, with lots of fun stuff done to it and plenty of room for creation, so I'll have to step down this year. I was in the finals last year, and wasn't able to produce a mix by my due date and got replaced. Sedna, you know it would have been interesting

If you want an Ableton Set creator in the tournament, I'll enter.. but it's just not fair. Cheers all.

(alternatively, one of you could purchase a new MIDI controller for me )

The last track has to be mixed in by the end point, meaning your mix can be more than 30 minutes as long as the final track was in the mix before 30:00. I usually have my final track mixed in around 5-7 minutes before the end, no need to squeeze in a last track most of the time.

I want to do it, I work really weird hours and sometimes I crash out after some really long days. Ultimately I don't want to let anyone down by committing and then failing to contribute.

The answer is yes, if you guys are happy to have me.
