difference between mixtrack pro and mixtrack pro2

Im looking for a midi controller for smaller gigs and decided on the mixtrack. Numark has a deal where if u buy the mixtrack pro and akai lpd8 you get serato dj for free. So my question is are the pads the only difference between the og and the 2? If so ill get the original and the lpd8 and take advantage of the deal

You could go either way. I personally would recommend going with the Kontrol S2 and Traktor...

I think when looking down to it, the mixtrack pro 1 and 2 are virtually the same, the pro 2 is just thinner and has pads instead of the small buttons on the pro 1. They're not actually drum pads (correct me if I'm wrong, this is what I saw in review videos when looking for my first controller, which was a pro 1).

However, like KLH said, get a Kontrol S2 and never look back. At least thats what I did.
