Thread: Post your lighting rigs

A surprise Sweet Sixteen performed at the Riverwalck Restaurant in Perryville, PA. It was a fun group, who danced non-stop. Custom Lightscaping package included 12 Color changing uplights, and 4 computer controlled Moving Heads.

The ceiling was covered with tarps that hung down, with some areas drooping as low as 6 ft, making it tough to get my Moving Heads where I wanted them.

    Equipment List
    Sound
    2 QSC K-Subs, 2 QSC K12's

    Lighting
    2 Blizzard Torrent 90's
    2 Blizzard Torrent Beams
12 Blizzard RGBA Puck Unpluggeds (Uplighting)
    Blizzard Eclipse DMX Software
    Blizzard Lightcaster Wireless DMX transmitter
12 Blizzard WiCicle Wireless DMX units

I already talked with the models about following the spots better. Next year the follow spots will be programmed a little differently, and the models are going to do a walk through with the lighting a night before, to make sure they are on their cue's.

I also need to graciously thank Lucas Prata, for allowing me to use his latest track in the video, I hope my extended remix of the song did it justice.

So watch the video, and let me know what you think of the video, and my first public remix.

Another Sweet Sixteen Using All Blizzard Lighting

This was a fun Sweet Sixteen, performed for a great Birthday Girl (Alexa) by Stevie Ray Entertainment. The room was the beautiful Terrace Ballroom at the Inn at Pocono Manor. The family and friends in attendance were a high spirited group who danced throughout the evening.

To help her achieve her dream party she chose our custom "Lightscaping Package" including.
Color Changing Uplighting, to match her decor, and floral arrangements (Provided by 15 Blizzard Puck Uplugged RGBA's)
Concert Style Intelligent Light Show Including 4 Moving Heads (2 Blizzard Torrent 90's & 2 Torrent 90 Beams, mounted on top of Global Truss)
    Controlled by Blizzard's Eclipse DMX, Lightcaster, & 16 WiCicles's

Why'd you use so many damn speakers? those PRX's and the RCF sub should have been enough

We had them avaliable to use, so why not?
The volumes were kept at reasonable levels, but being a tin shed, the bass was very poor.
My friend wanted to spend the money and he was happy to. I had no issues

Here is a show I did last November.. Loved this set-up.. Wish I had a little bit better video. There is projection mapping here too, but it wasn't done by me.

The headliner wanted a ton of strobe lights.. They camera really can't capture it though.

That is a very good question which I'm personally not 100% sure on, I am thinking yes, but normally we take bass out of the whole signal (making less come out of the speakers) and turning up the subs to try conquer the phasing stuff. Sorry, I am still learning about technicalities of sound. I hope this answer is okay
