Are you talking about the twiddle + crab, or Short-E's combo?

Regardless, depending on how fast you want to go, you can move the record forward faster or just let it go and do the flare/crab/twiddle for either. I assume you're talking about Short-E's combo when she does the pair of flares on the forward and back then lets go before crabbing on the second pullback. I have been playing with it a while and I have incorporated a tear on the normally dropped forward motion. In that sense, I have to keep my hand on the record. But, again, it's just about how fast you want to go.
