Anyone have this set up? I know a guy selling a brand new (Basically) set up for 480! Haven't come across too many reviews, but looks pretty dope.

Just picked up one last week. One word, "AWESOME"!! Its exactly what I was looking for as a basic light setup. It very easy to set up and is very bright with vibrant colors. The fact that it comes with the carrying cases is a big plus too. Well worth the investment.

How does this compare to Chauvets 4Bar Tri system?

Can't really compare, two very different products... Talking 8 heads to 6, stand vs, no stand, foot pedal, vs no foot pedal, and that's just the basics. It's a much better product, did lots of research on that end...

I own 2 of the 4bar tri systems and this is the exact same product... I mean yeah it has 8 heads instead of 4 but they are so similar. The bag looks exactly the same, logo in the exact same spot. Chauvet came up with an awesome product and Blizzard to get around patents changed it to 8 lights instead of 4 whoop di do.

Obviously you don't know what product he is talking about. Because it has 4 heads not 6, it does have a stand, it does have a foot pedal, and the connections between lights look the same...
