According to this and some other sites, the CDJ-2000 is being discontinued, to be replaced by the CDJ-2000 Nexus (whatever THAT is).

I noticed they released the 'exclusive' white version at NAMM 2012 so I doubt it's a new colour
Perhaps they're adding the slip mode the CDJ-900 has, a touch screen wouldn't surprise me too.
Still doesn't feel 3 years since the original was released
I saw this a few days ago, got me thinking what else they could input apart from the slip mode..
I was considering dropping some cash on 2000s but i will probably hold back until something gets announced.
And i was just about to get another pair of 2000's, now I'm not sure if i should wait or not... :/
I would. You will get that itch and then take a big hit reselling those 2000s. When the 2000s came out I took a huge hit selling my DVJ-1000s, and didn't go for the 2000s because of the amount of money that I had to put out of pocket.
how long was it before the mk2 of the cdj1000?
Not sure why the CDJ-2000 needs an upgrade. It's a pretty amazing piece of equipment.
Noticed they keep an average gap of two to three years before releasing a new CDJ MK.
Should be about time. Can't figure out what features will be implemented… Although Rekordbox has kind of a Wi-Fi button in the Devices panel since a while… Might be a clue.
But then again, what features would we absolutely need more? We're at the point where it might be a CDJ that auto-mixes (lol).
