How to learn to beatmatch by ear

I am using a mixtrack pro 2 and have been syncing for ages now i wanna learn how to beat match by ear what do i do?

I'm pretty sure it's explained in full detail, but here's a small breakdown: take two of the same songs (something with only drums or as little instruments as possible works best IMO) and play one. Take the next deck and find the ONE beat. Drop that over and over until you can get it right on the money. If it starts falling behind, spin your platter until you can maintain both beats and INCH your pitch up until you don't have to move the platter. Practice, practice, PRACTICE!! I think I spent three hours doing it before I can effectively drop on the one (being incredibly hungover btw) and get the cool phaser effect of having two beats almost together.
