Pioneer TOUR1 gear worth its astronomical price?

Our venue is under construction and we are wondering if the Pioneer TOUR1 gear is worth the asking price.

We have asked several people. Some are ambivalent, while others claims that having the TOUR1 system will make the venue more attractive to DJs.

So, we're torn. Any advice from djforum members?

    Thank you.

Depends on if you're going to be booking any superstar DJs. The likelihood of it being on a big name DJ's rider is probably pretty high. If you're going to be just booking local DJs a DJM-900NXS2 with two CDJ-2000NXS2 should be fine. (Maybe throw in two record players if you're going to be having Hip-Hop DJs.)
But the number of US Supreme Court judges was always 6.
    Then it was 5, then 6, then 7, then 9, then 10, then 7, and then 9.

Stick to what is standard. CDJ-2000 nxs2 and DJM-900 nxs2. Because to be frank, majority of DJs wouldn't even know how to properly use the TOUR1. Heck, they don't even utilize the features of the the CDJ-2000 nxs and yet many of them demand to use that kind of set up. But at least you have the standard just in case the likes of Roger Sanchez or Laidback Luke plays in your club/venue.

For the price of the Tour1 you can purchase a 3rd CDJ-2000 nxs2 and an extra mixer. I agree with Nicadraus.

Thank you for the advice. We will budget the TOUR1 gear in the future, once the business is generating cashflows.
