It'd be pretty cool if you stopped by! I'm almost always at any given WOMP night. It's kinda my 'home' event, in a sense.

Admittedly, the main genres for WOMP are Electro/House/Dubstep. However, both for Wednesday WOMP and WOMP Island, there's the 21+ room where anything goes. You'll still hear house and dubstep in there, but just a often you'll hear something else. Case in point: I'll be doing an all-Breaks set this week, and DJ PADD is almost always in there with at least an hour of trance. Heck, I've heard some good funky/disco house in the 21+ on the island. It's getting to be my favorite place to be just because it's a good break from the status quo and the kids

I can get into anything but i have been craving some decent live techno these past few days. What does one have to do for a slot at that "anything goes" room?

Holy crap I need to update this more often. WOMP and Cloud10 are doing it quite big this summer. Check the OP for some great events coming up!

I still say we need to round up some Bay Area DJF guys and do a DJF takeover of the third room. IMHO, it'd be a great way to get some more of ya known by the WOMP/C10 crew.

Hey, if we can get 4 guys that are down for it, I can send Ross mixes and pitch the idea to him.

I know Hygro wants the main room, but the 3rd room is a good place to start, and besides: I feel like our tastes are a bit more eclectic than the main room allows for (ELECTROELECTROELECTRO)

^banner ftw. Im a big fan of DnB so I can close up the night with some drumstep/dnb too. But no problems playing electro house either. maybe some sitar music?

DnB and drumstep is a good combo =D My buddy Nightcrawler has headlined the second room playing those two genres. I know Ross and the crew are doubly busy this week (Wednesday WOMP on the island, and then WOMP SF at the DNA Lounge) so I'll see about pitching the idea to him next week when he might have some time to actually consider it.
