    Stanton SA-8 and Innofader mod

Here are pictures of my Stanton SA-8 that I modded with an Innofader. The Innofader would not fit, so I had to cut the metal where the fader goes.

    Before the mod.

The Innofader will not fit in the opening.

So I carefully cut (using a dremble) the part where the screws go in to make it perfectly rectangular.

    Now the innofader fits.

    The finished product.

The reason why I love this mixer is because when you move the crossfader to the right or left, the cue automatically goes to the opposite direction. So you never have to touch the cue. You can also turn this feature off if you like.

I never knew that Cueing worked that way on the SA-8! thats a great feature! Did you have any problems wiring the Inno?

I didn't have any problems installing the innofader at all. As with any mixer, the hardest thing with the Innofader is adjusting it (cut in time, smoothness of the fader, etc..). I see I listed the same picture twice! I will have to change it so the last picture shows the mixer with the faceplate on.
