Confused
So, I have just been creating music with the little equipment I have (Ableton live 8, and a shit load of VST's). Now I don't consider Ableton live to be little by any means, I just mean my computer is not set up for proper sound (mainly because I have yet to teach myself about proper sound) and I am without a midi keyboard, monitors, or any controllers whatsoever.
Regardless, the music that I have been creating is not too bad, but here is where I am confused. I do not consider myself a dj as I just 'create' music for now (definitely plan on putting on shows and playing live sets, just want to wait until I'm good enough) so what would I call myself if I were to put a label on what I do?
Thanks, MV3

Alright, see I was sure it would be 'producer' I just didn't want to throw around labels ignorantly. Thank you.

Thank you very much for the post. I honestly searched it before, but obviously it was not extensive enough.
