Pioneer DJM-700?

Is $1000 for this mixer a good deal nowadays, with the DJM-900Nexus being out. I want a good mixer but don't want to spend more money for the DJM-900Nexus, is that a good thing do. Guitar Center has 15% off now and DJM-700 would be 850 and tax.

Any thoughts on this mixer as well, I'm sort of a beginner and I want a mixer I can have for a couple of years or until I get more money as well as becoming better at DJing.

Any other mixers you could recommend, I don't really want something cheap because I feel the learning curve and DJing abilities with having a bad/cheap mixer aren't so good.

I have this mixer for my home setup, fucking great........the 800 has a couple features more than the 700, like the color efx, multi filters instead of 1, and the 800 is now discontinued.........the 900 is great if you need a built in soundcard, other than that, Im way happy with the 700, its a solid mixer!
