So pretty much, a great producer, Asalto uploaded a track for free called 'Napoleon' in early 2012. In the summer, someone known as 'DJ JT' reuploaded the exact same track to Beatport under the name 'Diablo' and is making money off of his insensitive act of plagiarism/theft. He didn't credit Asalto in any way, and acted like it was his own production. It took everyone a few months to catch it, but let's not let him make another penny off someone else's work!
Asalto's Facebook Post:
"You remember my track 'Napoleon' I released as a free download?
There's a douchbag called 'DJ JT' who "stole" and released my track 'Napoleon' under another name on Beatport, iTunes, Spotify and more: http://www.beatport.com/track/diablo...al-mix/3712525
How dumb can someone be? We really live in a sick world with sick people! And it's not like he's an unsuccessful DJ. And that's the most ridiculous thing.
DON'T support this guy, he's nothing but a thief who isn't able to create his own stuff. That's so poor...
PLEASE help me and share this info. Everyone has to see how birdbrained 'DJ JT' is.
Start the ****storm!
