If you need some de-motivation to get them, check out the pioneer forums to see all the problems people are having with them

You mean the people trying to dump 10,000+ tracks on a patchwork drive in an unknown format, and then just expect the deck to deal with it? There's not much outside of the weird thats really going wrong, it's just a bunch of kicking, screaming and drama over the pricepoint and "expectations."

It's nice to see the natural growth of features due to embedding a computer into a CDJ. If only the pricing weren't so astronomical...

My favorite part is the statement (@8:17):

We also have a full IEC power connector, which is great, because... it's better for sound!

wow do you not know what you are talking about, lol

let me just add without bashing Pioneer too much because they are working with me on this, the Nexus decks have bugs, big ones mp3 related that I found, had the mk1's for years with no issues and now the Nexus decks barely get me through an event without a problem so dont make comments like that when, again, you have no clue what you are talking about and most likely dont even own the decks.

Again, I have emailed back and forth attaching step by step info and videos and all of the reproducible bugs and Pioneer has been on top of the issue with me and hopefully rectify them soon, if not I will be returning the decks and re-purchasing the mk1's

I checked out the pioneerforums and have been demotivated.

I guess he means because the power cord is grounded it might provide less feedback on a large system.

I really don't get the issues on the Pioneer forums because I haven't run I to any of them myself. The decks work flawlessly for me.
