When I first started mixing five years ago I would study tape of Craze and Jazzy Jeff daily. These days I have a lot of respect for Laidback Luke, Marco V, and Hardwell.

I don't watch DJ videos very often but DJ Cotts' videos are always a treat.

I don't watch many DJs for inspiration, but I do love listening to this guy's work: -

In terms of studio/produced mixes, which is what I'm mostly into making, he's untouchable IMO. Probably the most humble person I've ever spoken to too.

Back in the day when I was heavily into scratching, watching pretty much any DMC video would get me itching to get on my decks.

DMC stuff and Scratch the Movie get me in the mood and I'm not even much of a turntablist.

DJ Ravine - The god of all scratching

    DJ Cotts - Hardcore God

    Find them both on youtube.
Dubstep is the genre of all sentient music!

Oliver Prime. He is like Zebedee from the magic roundabout behind the decks.

For track selection I keep on eye DJ Day,DJ Mane One and Mister Critical. Technical wise DJ BB Famous and DJ Bee are pretty solid but play mostly older stuff - "old School".

Today's DJ scene is pretty sparse when it comes impressive skills, You can have great scratcher but he only cuts up "ahh" and fresh" and plays crappyedm tunes - wack! Or you have solid DJ who has the skills to put together a great set but only spins old school (80's & 90's radio hits) - wack! There quite a dearth of DJ's who have great taste in music, plays new music, doesn't follow trends, has solid skills and is consist in making great mixes. That used the rule now it's exception. At the moment I can't think of one except DJ Day.

Hardwell for me leaves a big impact.

And most people will probs flame me for this but Tiesto for me is the biggest inspiration in the whole EDM scene for me.
