    lol anyone who thinks the best DJ is on 105 or hot97, thats a joke. Funkmaster flex is beyond terrible to listen to.

    One of better open format DJs in NY is DJ Yonny. He was also featured on Master of the mix season 2. But I agree there is so many good DJs that do not have a big name out there, so there is no right answer because there is no statistics to go by lol

    It's so sad that the DJs on Hot97 and Power105 are so sloppy (at least when on the radio)

    a few years ago some dude on a site i used to chat on said a dj called Danny Woo was up and coming in new york, obviously being in england i cant follow up on whether he is or not so does anyone from over there know anything about him

    Yeah never heard of the guy and unless he's running some kind of culturally significant super club then I'm not impressed with potential "top" status. I mean, props on him on making it as a non-producer DJ and being skilled and all.

    But also, I think saying he's better than anyone here is okay, true or not. Even though we are really only saying "who?" cuz frankly he's not really outside-NYC famous.
