PSSL has the M-Audio powered speakers insanely cheap. I just bought 2 of the 10's for $99 each, nice to just have laying around for that price!

Not sure if this is a deal, but he claims these are American made Mackies with RCF woofers -- others might overlook and the guy might be willing to deal...

Mackie SA1232 Speakers Pr - $2500 (Haslett, Michigan)

2 USED Mackie SA1232 Active Powered Full Range PA speakers. Purchased in 2004. Original Retail price - $2295.00 each.
    Each cabinet contains 2-12" RCF brand Speakers, 1-6" Mid Frequency Transducer & 1-1.75" High Frequency Horn Driver. 1300 Watt Total Power per Cabinet - 1100W - 12s, 100W - Mid, 100W - Horn. 2600W - Pair.
These are NOT Chinese made Mackies - they were made in the USA in Washington state before Mackie began having their products manufactured overseas. Frequency response down to 42HZ makes these excellent full range speakers to be used with or without sub woofers. They are big, full and very smooth sounding without the harsh high and mid frequencies common to many of today's powered speakers.
Will deliver within reasonable distance for reasonable additional cost. Visit Mackie's own web site for more specifications: http://www.mackie.com/products/sa1232/index.html
