I thought it was a good idea, and then i remembered that I haven't bought a mix since 2007.

I don't many people who would want to buy mixes unless you have a crazy ridiculous dedicated fan base.

the only thing i really like about mixes is that it gives you more room to post tracks as opposed to beatport charts. That and mixes give better flow than the charts.

i like the idea of getting paid when you submit a mix and people buy it, but there will be very few people who would do so i'd think.

all I do is listen to mixes while at work... if I can get good quality ones... why not... less trolling around the internet looking for some... I know there is mix cloud and soundcloud and the like, but I just don't like listing to music on there all day... you always get that random crappy one that makes you want to punch something.

I think it would be good if it was free, but I think that anyone that wants a mix from one of their favorite local DJs, they'd just follow them on sound/mixcloud or will just follow their podcast (if they have one) for free, paying $6US for a 30 minute mix is jsut ridiculous.

yeahhhhhh i think its a pretty good idea. A logical step really. less and less physical release's on CD's and more digital stuff so really not a bad move. I'd rather buy a dj mix from beatport than Itunes.
