Hi, my name is ______

So I have gotten some really mixed feelings about my DJ name ParisCreative. As some who participated in a logo thread (Is my identity/brand outdated) know I took on the name from a brand I had as a web design company with the intention that it could be used elsewhere. I've gotten some positive feedback, but mostly from meh to no. It seems to corporate, it does not seem like a DJ name.

So I pose this basic question, my name should be _____.

For my first stint as a DJ till 1999 I was known as DJ T-Love. Kinda corny but it was what it was. I would never go back to that. I spin hip-hop, r&b, funk, soul, jazz, rock, pop, some dance. Yeah at 38 I am not too much into the EDM, Dubstep, or other genre, but if it's really good I'll find time to play it.

So the names I have so far are:

ParisCreative (leaning towards retiring)
SoulSpins
Funkamix
?????

What works, what doesn't.

i'm in the same boat mate i'm currently trying to think up a new name. My plan was to just write aload of stuff about myself on a list and try and work something from that..
for the record Dj T-Love sounds ace to me.

...also there's a thousand "what should my name be" threads and it's a little bit of a laugh to see new ones, after all the ridicule those types of thread produce.

Actually I gave a couple choices I had, and hoped for some intelligent vetting. I am not asking for something out of thin air.

It so odd how I can get very disparate opinions. On some of my tech forums who have very well respected market people, they note that Paris Creative seems to corporate, sounds like just the roots of my design company and can't be transposed as a DJ name.

I am on the fence. Part of me likes it. It's unique. I have owned that brand for years now (11 years).

Part of me dislikes it. It sounds a bit flat. But maybe I am just being too critical.
