    Turned my website to flash

So I have been playing around with this free flash program for about 6months now. This one: http://auroraflash.org/

Site is still fairly simple, but check it out and let me know what you guys think. I notice that depending on the browser you use, some of the text and/or pics gets misaligned. Trying to figure out how to fix that.

I have a slow (broadband) internet connection, so it takes about sixty to ninety seconds for the first page to load.
Myself personally, if I was a customer shopping around, I would skip such a site.
But since you're not a mobile DJ, I don't know if such things are important or not.

PIcs take an eternity to load, it was not that easy to find information, too many clicks

    1. I'm on fast internet and I loaded it pretty quick. It's still slower than most sites, which as a consumer can be discouraging.
    2. I know you said you were working on the site, but there isn't any sort of navigation. It's difficult to find things.
    3. The transparent font looks off. I would maybe move the logo elsewhere.
    4. I like the way the site opens up.

I would consider moving to HTML5.

like the others said. html5 is the way to go. i see few new flash sites going on these days and most big sites if they are using flash are preparing to move to html5 or already did (for example beatport)

    *echo* HTML 5

it's very slow to load for zero content. Better to have the HTML architecture, then you can add flash content into it.

I notice that depending on the browser you use, some of the text and/or pics gets misaligned.
And the display settings. I didn't vote since it isn't good, it isn't not bad, and I can't say if it sucks since what I'm seeing is far from being a finished product. Here's probably the best reference for webdesign in terms and what and what not to do: http://www.webpagesthatsuck.com/

    Thanks for the input guys.

There seems to be a problem with different browsers when viewing this. Firefox being the worst as far as alignment goes. Give that this is a free software that I am using, tech support is non-existent.

I'll keep playing around with it. And will look into HTML5 and see how easy that is to navigate. Thanks again for the input.
