Beatport restricts certain songs per region?

I was completly amazed when i went to go purchase Astek - R U Ready, it gave me a message saying that this release was restricted in my area .... DA FUUUUUUUCK? So I just bought it off Amazon ¯\(°_o)/¯

At least you can buy from Amazon. Canadians (along with the rest of the world, I'm sure) are geo-blocked all the time from various multimedia sites.

Sometimes you can find the same release on different labels. I tried to get Filo and Peris "Shine On" off of label Vandit, but I had to buy it off of label Ultra.

I've been blocked also.. Not sure why they do this. My guess is because they want to sell the full album that hasn't reached a specific country yet?? Nothing really comes to NZ until its 5 years old overseas tho, so im screwed.
