Anybody using serato itch with RMX1000? I'm looking to use it with my DDJs1
How would you use an effect processor on an all-in-one controller? The only way that I can see using it would be to feed the RMX1000 with the main-outputs of the DDJ-S1... which means you can't cue the effects. The flexibility of the traditional aux/return isn't available on all-in-ones as the DJ app itself applies effects.
IIRC, people tried to use effects (like the Kaoss Pad) on other ITCH devices via the main output. Needless to say while it was workable, no one was happy with it.
If you're serious about applying effects, consider incorporating a DJ mixer with or without the DDJ-S1. Obviously, the DJ mixer would need to have an effects loop (aka aux-sends and returns) to incorporate the RMX1000.

yeah I plan on outputting to the RMX1000, which means not being able to cue the effects. I am planning this for practice mainly, (unless I practice the effects in advance) as I want to move up to a rane62 in the future.

Yea you already have effects with itch and no aux-return so i recommend you just send me your RMX1000
