    Using Reason to make mixes?

Is it possible to use Reason Essentials to make mixes? I just want to make a few mixes no more than about 10 minutes for mobile gigs at times when I'm eating or anything like that. Is there any tutorials on how to make a mix using reason? Is it anything like using mixmeister or ableton to make a mix?

    - Thanks.

If you can record (or import audio tracks) and has a multitrack feature you can make a mix with it.

Reason is quite possibly the worst DAW for making a mix that I could think of. Not sure how the new 6 & 6.5 are looking but on 5, the sequencer is

you could look at reaper, its cheaper than mixmeister and is a real full fledged daw. Its demo is also indefinite, so you can try it out as long as you want, they just ask you purchase it once the trial period is over

Reason has merged with Record and has audio in built into it now. The sequencer takes some getting use to and I've never used it for actual audio recording, but for synthesis it's pretty awesome.
Producing: Sonar X2, Cakewalk VS-700, Waves, EWQL, NI, etc. Lighting Designer/Special Effects: Grand MA, Martin, Le Maitre, ReeleFX, Fire One Pyrotechnics
