...it's the culture where 'everyone's a winner!' Giving your real opinion on a 'tune' that's bad doesn't make it good, so what's the point? Personally, I look to good tunes to pay attention to; it cuts out all the shit.

What internet are you on?
The one I'm on is much more a culture of insults & put downs than one of "everyone's a winner".

Just look at the number negative comments versus positive comments on YouTube.

Usually, I always find something kind to say or shut up.

You should give honest feedback to peoples tracks, and if it is critical it doesn't matter, whilst some thing may be personal preference, others are not and critical feedback is valuable to the producer, whilst lying or saying nothing is utterly useless. And anyone who is producing stuff, putting it on the internet for people to comment on should realise that critical comment is helpful, those that don't and get all butt hurt about it need to get a backbone or not post their stuff for the public to comment on.

Unfortunately I do this too. Although I usually try to point out something I noticed after mentioning the good. But if I didn't like at all, I just move on to the next.

Well, I'd understand if its not the genre you like, but if you have an opinion that although may be critical could do some good by sharing, you should do so.
