Thread: Macbook Pro Better USB Port?????

This is no longer an issue at all. If however, you are worried about it...get a simple powered USB hub and you will no longer have any issues.

Now that this is mentioned, I was playing in Traktor last night and had clipping issues, not sure why. Will try the new port tonight and report back. It was strange last night, sounded like a dirty control vinyl, however they were clean....AND my cpu load did keep clipping in the red for a bit.

On Apple forums I was told this is very common, and it seems my USB port nearest me is half speed of the closer to the screen usb port, also that one never glitches.

I would like to report that the statements are true. On my MBP the one closest to me is faster for sure, no drop outs or anything. I have a 7 port hub so i just connect to that one fast port and replicate
