Serato SL 1 and Set up assistance

Hi there

I've been learning the craft recently and want to get my own setup. I'm buying a couple of technics decks with the intention on starting on vinyl for practising purposes but the guy im buying them from has offered to also sell me his Serato SL1 for an additional £250. I just wondered is it worth getting the SL1 or is it now outdated? i can get SL 2 new for £350 but ive not been able to find much on the net that tells me the difference. is the SL1 still good/worth getting?

any assistance would be appreciated as i am buying the decks tomorrow
