First Logo, Feedback Appreciated

Hey guys. I've always liked graphic arts, but I've never really tried hard or been good at it. I thought I'd give it a shot again for some promotional logos and banners for stuff. Anyway, here is some my first logo. I know it needs some work, but I think it turned out well for my first attempt. It was made using Photoshop CS5.

Try just black lettering on white background, and have the edges of the waveform cut off flush with the D and the X.
