traktor doesn't recognize my s4 ?

Hi, i have searched for solutions all over the net, but i just can't make my s4 work !

I bought my s4 today. There was no CD in the box, just two codes on a piece of paper telling me to go download traktor 2 on native's website. I did that, used both codes when i needed to. Uptated all drivers, installed all my windows uptates, tried 3 different usb hubs, tried rebooting, etc.

But STILL ! Windows fully recognizes my traktor s4, it's there in device manager, everything. BUT traktor doesn't seem to recognize it at all ! And my s4 control panel says that there is no controller plugged into the computer. Please help me !

Might be a glitch in the software. Have you tried uninstalling and then re-installing?

Before you uninstall, download Revo Uninstaller: http://download.cnet.com/Revo-Uninst...-10687648.html

Use that to uninstall Traktor, as it will find and delete any lingering files witch might have an affect on the issue.

Restart, and then re-install again.

Also, have you tried plugging in in with the power adapter? I'm thinking that maybe your USB ports may not have enough have enough power to run the S4, even though windows recognizes that it is there.

Do you know what type of ports they are, USB1.0, USB2.0, or USB3.0?

Also, you can try re-installing or rolling back the driver.

Uninstall everything. If your using a p.c. Leave the s4 unplugged until everything is installed. Install the software, than the driver. After all that is installed plug in the s4. Let the p.c. Recognize the driver, than open traktor and your set.

Is your S4 lighting up, if not .. try a new cable from your s4 to cpu.

* do not use your wall plug for this test * if you use just the cable it will light up your controller just not as defined as if it were plugged into the wall.
