    Latency issues? help needed!

So i started using VDJ with a secondhand Numark Omni Control and every now and then there are cracks and pops in the audio, that eventually get so bad they completely distort the sound (after about 10 mins). I didn't know what exactly to do when this happened, so i chose to download Traktor Pro 2 to see if the problem was due to VDJ's notoriously simple build. The same problem exists with Traktor too. I know it is down to latency issues, but i've no idea how to rid the cracks and pops.
I'm using the headphone input for headphones to play cue, and then using the PC's speakers to output the mix - could this setup be the problem? i'm also using ASIO4ALL to enable this setup to work through traktor also, if this is of any help to you guys. i'll include screenshots of various latency based stats and such too. please help!

Sounds like you're throttling your CPU a bit much. Have you checked the CPU bar at the top? And if so try to change the audio device to Omni AISO driver. ASIO4ALL uses crazy CPU when forcing sampling to 44100 Hz is selected in the ASIO Panel.

When I first bought my traktor scratch a10, I had to change my latency because every minute or two my track would slow down or miss a beat due to latency.... really fuct up my mixes. I didn't have to turn it down too much...

Hope you fix your issue a.s.a.p. that crap is frustrating.

If those don't work, you'll need to adjust the buffer sizes larger - which basically increases latency, but also lowers CPU usage.

The goal is to set the buffer size as low as possible without hearing clicks or pops. In your pics, your buffer is 512samples. Increase it.
