DJF Bulletin Board

Hey! Would it be cool to have a sticky thread that was for members to post things partaining to the site? More specificaly if someone has a promotion that benefits the site and its members it can be stuck on the community bulletin board so it does not get lost in the forum black hole haha.

I have something to add as well but wether or not this idea goes through i will create a seperate thread for it

Well I have been talking with a local promoter about a new monthly at the Tatou super club in los angeles and he is willing to do a special forum promotion.

Any tickets a member sells either to himself or a friend, the ticket sales go to the site!

Also, if we get a good thing going it will mean the start of DJForums ran rooms at the same venue which will mean i can help get some local guys on a mainstage for some exposure!

Stuff like that ^^^ With flyers too.

Aren't there already forums on here for event promotion? I think any DJF-related promotions could just be posted there

Its a running promotion and not just one single event so i dont want it to get lost in the forum madness. I could keep posting in it but it would be nice to have one location of these types of community specific orginized events.

If it comes down to it i will just make a post in general but i would hate on people to not be able to take advantage of these resources!

I think if you really want something of this complexity you should be talking directly to J & D.J, not asking the whole forum. This pertains directly to making partially intrusive changes to the board and managing the content, so it's not just a simple request.

I already got the ok from DJ, it was just a matter of how to promote it and the bulletin board idea came from this promo thing.
