I voted without looking at the choices, but you can get Pioneer HDJ-2000's for under $250. That's why I vote Pioneer all day. HDJ-1000's are prone to breaking at the joint, I own two pairs and they've both been "fixed". The HDJ-2000's are even better than sliced bread.

Well I do have Pioneer HDJ1000. I love them. They sound great! BUT there is a FLAW! The hinges are CRAP! They need to make them out metal, not cheap pic N save plastic! Mines broke. But I was able to fix it. Thanks to god for giving me the ability to permanently fix them! Check out my video on THIS! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEOwXaghkao

Took me a while to buy mine...Only thing that sucks is ..now that i experienced this type of Headphones(Quality) i dont kno what i would do without....HDJ 2000,'s all the way..i had no budget..i went around heard em all but the HDJ' 2k's are solidly built..can replace parts..and the SQ is amazing. Heard the Beats PRO...omfg..they even felt cheap compared to those. Sony's where My next choice..loved the sound. HDJ 2000,s frame is all metal. i stepped on them im a big dude...nothing really broke. I really like the BOSE QC15 (Non DJ Headphones those are comfy as hell..but they still dont sound as balanced as these and they a lil to bright.
