Just a few questions regarding SSL...
First, when calibrating, I play some music in internal mode, set the needle on the record with the record stopped and click the estimate button. My slider then goes all the way to the right when in "phono" mode on the same page and the slider will go all the way to the left if in "line" mode. I still need to set my slider some where half way so the record is more sensitive to slow movement but not sure why it doesn't guess that part itself. SSL is installed inside my mixer and everything is grounded, and my TT's are internally grounded as well.
Another are the scope rings, they are very circular like they're supposed to be but they are different sizes even at the same "zoom" level and no matter where the needle is on the record. Anyone else have this issue? If it's even an issue, I don't know but it doesn't seem right.
3rd question is why my waveforms are not in sync with my mains. As I'm getting back into beat matching, I've been using the waveforms as a guide but it's messing me up because they're just not in sync, they're off ever so slightly. I at first thought it was my headphones being ahead of my mains but that's not the case. If I can't fix this, is there a way to display my digital decks in a large format like with the waveforms but disable the waveforms? I want the large decks so I can see my hot cues and what not, any advice here?
