OK, This wedding was held 2.5 hours from my office in CT. Beautiful spot. Had to do 3 set ups... 1 on the beach... 1 in the cocktail area and 1 in the reception hall. I had our planning meeting and during it there were a few songs they had requested that I could not get. Special to their home country so they emailed them to me. I got them Friday before the wedding and was in the process of moving into my new house. We were moving all the way through the week and just finished. Needless to say I forgot to upload the music to the hard drive.

Heres where the problem starts.

I lay my laptop bown on the table where we were setting up on the beach. We had to setup in a gazebo... My buddy accidently turns into the table knocking over my laptop and shattering the screen... Not a big deal right? I mean thats why I bring 3 laptops and 2 hard drives right? Oh yea what about the music I failed to transfer to my hard drive. FU*K... Panic sets in a bit... We have an hour and a half to come up with a solution... The ceremony I was able to use music from my other laptops but the special dances were going to be a problem. We couldnt find them anywhere and of course I deleted the email with the songs. So off my wife goes to WalMart and grabs a monitor... Im just worried that the hard drive is smashed. She gets back and I have my assistant handle the ceremony until I situate the monitor. I get it plugged in and it WORKS! THANK GOD! Ill never make the mistake of not backing the songs up again.



Ended up using the external monitor all night. Was going to switch it out after the dances during dinner but didnt want to mess with anything. There was so many little problems befor hand it was annoying. I couldnt even get the Q Spots to master slave...

Buttttttt

250 people non stop dancing. Great crowd and a lot of fun. I got 3 tips from guests and 1 from the groom! Finally got to use our lasers too. Music played was very diverse. Ranging from Lionell to Biggi, Jay Z to Chuckie and some group dances along with song oldies. The guests were sweating and very tired at the end of the night lol. I wish I had more clips but my phone and my assistants phone died. Im waiting for him to upload a couple clips.
