Thread: First DMX Controller

  1. #11
The only lights have for now with DMX control are a pair of Blizzard Flurries and an American DJ Megapixel. As I said in my first post I'm not looking to really do much just get some and refresh my experience in DMX.

Here's a link to the ENTTEC dongle

Best bang for your buck in my opinion.

In that case go software, so you can expand later on. I'd recommend showxpress for sure; as for enttec I dont know if they have a customer service department where as chauvet does. Also I cant say much for enttec because I haven't used it before. But I have used showxpress and it is pretty awesome for the price.

Not the Xpress 100 dongle. Only the larger 512 and 512 Plus work on the Mac.

I'm hoping you didn't pay for it. The software is free, you just need to buy a dongle.
