Hah yeah, this disappoints me in a similar way to Daft Punk's Tron soundtrack did: they're both artists that often rely heavily on a lot of (mostly?) uncleared samples and they just don't seem to be as good at these 100% original tracks. I might be wrong, but I imagine in both of these cases the artists were strictly unable to sample other tracks and ended up producing something using a completely different approach to what they normally use.
It's not a bad track though, just doesn't come close to classic Chemical Bros stuff
