    harbinger ha120 pa system

I needed a small pa system to use as a second setup for wedding ceremonies and small gigs so did some shopping around and came across this one for $300 at guitar center. It's comes with two 12" speakers and a 4 channel, 120 Watt powered mixer. I used it tonight with my laptop and projector to watch a movie in the back yard with the family and it sounds pretty good. It sound just as good as any of the packages i looked at for twice the price. I wouldn't have a problem with using it for a small reception and i can't wait to hear how it sounds with a sub.

Ehh in terms of reliability and sound quality, I'd much rather have a Fender Passport system. Harbinger is a house brand and also known for being shit quality.

Systems like that are fine for small gatherings but don't push it hard, at 116db max SPL it will be limited in what it can do.
The amp can only do 80watts rms into 8ohms so you should be looking at powered subs.
