I don't normally post my mixes here, but I figured I'd try it with my latest mix and see how it goes.

This is an hour-long megamix featuring 11 commercial dance-oriented tracks released between 1988 and 1991. Here's the tracklist:
.
- C+C Music Factory + Freedom Williams + Zelma Davis [actually Martha Wash] - "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)."
- Neneh Cherry - "Buffalo Stance."
- Lisa Lisa + Cult Jam - "Let the Beat Hit 'Em."
- Madonna - "Vogue."
- Depeche Mode - "Policy of Truth."
- Tony! Toni! Toné! - "Feels Good."
- Seduction - "Two To Make It Right."
- Michael Jackson - "Smooth Criminal."
- Black Box - "Strike It Up."
- Marky Mark + the Funky Bunch + Loleatta Holloway - "Good Vibrations."
.
All of the remixes used in this mix were released on physical media by remix service companies; none of these versions were ever released commercially, to my knowledge.
All scratching, stuttering, etc. that you hear was included in the remixes; I didn't do any scratching or oversampling on this mix. Some of the remixes used are admittedly pretty long.
"Buffalo Stance" and "Policy of Truth" were played from CDs; the other nine tracks were played from vinyl. No MIDI controllers or laptops were used in the creation of this mix.
Finally: I know there is a fairly significant "train-wreck" moment in the mix. You'll probably notice it.
Enjoy!
(And, yes, Sigma, I'm still planning a Depeche Mode megamix soon.)![]()
