    1210mk2 platter "stuttering"??

Came across an awesome deal on these tables and had to pick them up. After playing on them for a little bit, I noticed this issue happening on one of them. It doesn't do it immediately, but only after a few minutes. It only does it when I decrease the pitch. When it's at 0 or increased, no issues. Anyone know what could be the issue and how to make the repairs?

Since you got two tables, take them apart and swap out the pitch controls. If it plays normal, you either need a new pitch control, or it needs to be cleaned. You may try cleaning it first if you don't want to swap out the pitch control. If you swap the pitch control and it still does it, you probably need two new chips on the main circuit board, or the pitch adjustment pot might be dirty on the main board. I don't know how handy you are, but if swapping out the pitch control doesn't fix it, you might have to pay someone to fix it for you.

At zero the big dots suppose to stop like there doing. Then if you move it to 6 the top dots suppose to stop. That just looks like the quarts lock is working.

but that pitch fader could need cleaning or a new one. How is the sound and can you keep both tables playing the same song at zero for a long time.

At 0, I could use both tables all night. The sound is great as well. It's just after a few minutes, the one deck starts having that issue when I adjust the pitch.

It does need cleaning and calibration afterwards. Then it should be fine.

It is 100% the pitch fader. Don't spray crap in there. Best method is to de solder the fader from the PCB, open the fader and wipe down the tracks with Isopropyl. Either that or just replace the fader with a new item. They are a cheap part. Click here for youtube links http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...ac.QDZ8_aMs_Ig

Hey guys, sorry the delay in response, but I swapped the pitches and the original table is still having the issue. Guessing it would be something on the board?
