    Building basic sub cabs?

I'm looking into purchasing two (or more) of the 15" Kappa drivers (600 w RMS) to add some low end to my setup. I figured 15" would be the way to go so I could get the punchy dance bass along with the super-low rap bass.
I was wondering if there are any sources to simple speaker plans?
(I have the BFM Titan plans, but they just look like too much for me)

I'm open to any and all advice/suggestions.

The driver itself comes with a couple suggest designs.. http://www.parts-express.com/pedocs/...-more-info.pdf

Nice. I didn't know that. Do the drivers come with blueprints as well?

They used to but now they just give you the required box volume, basic shape, number of ports, size & length of ports, amount of fill to use & tuning settings.

Ok thanks for the info. I guess I'll order a couple, go over the documents, and go from there.

By and large, no. The vast majority of plans just give you a diagram with essential dimensions. Figuring out all the actual parts sizes, and more important, how to assemble it, is up to you. The T48 plans are 32 pages long, cover every construction step to the smallest detail, and are intended for those who've never built a cab before. IMO if you can't build a T48 you can't build a cab.

The plans I have are for the T38 and are 26 pages long.

do yourself a favor, build one of bill's designs if your going to build your own boxes. Its really not the difficult, and the end result will be well worth it.

There is no T38. In any event 26 pages is a lot more than one.
