^Thanks!
I used the Vika Amon Desktop. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10071172/
1 expedit, I used 3 black 2" wood screws on each side to hold it down.

All these Ikea tables/mods are great... I still need to go there and get myself a proper table :O
@Nicadraus: Thanks
@L2daGee: Yes it over hangs in the back, but due to the Vinyl weight it is stable as can be, no wobble at all
Is it just me or does anyone else not like facing a wall when you practice? I always face towards a wall. But I like having space in front of me. Maybe some sort of OCD hell who knows. Even when I'm in small booths I'm like ehhh...but I deal with it then cause I'm getting paid lol

When at home, I don't mind facing a wall. Out at a gig, I prefer the wall to be behind me. I don't like people looking over my shoulder while DJing.
I really had no idea till just now that IKEA was so influential on the DJ's home set up! Nice wok fellas, all of you. I made a desk at my house, not IKEA but pretty sweet I think. I will post some pics when I get a chance.
When I bought my vika and expedit the casher forgot to ring up the color changing LED system in my cart
I used the 4X4 expedit in black brown http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10103088/ combined with both shelves from the lack tv unit http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20105341/
Saw it on one of the ikea hack websites, the lack shevles are the exact width as the expedit, the length is 23' so you get a little overhang which is perfect for me since i focus on more of the "production" side of music so the more space the better, i also used both lack shelves since the combined height with the expedit bookshelf is 35'. I used liquid nails to combine the lack shelves to the expedit and recently i sanded them down and painted them twilight purple with a coat of polycrylic http://www.minwax.com/wood-products/...tective-finish
I'll post a picture of them tonight.
