MAC: better to get bootcamp/windows parallel OR a decent windows computer

I really want to use FL Studio. I started on FL studio and am used to it's workflow. However, now I have a macbook and can;t run FL studio. so.. is it better to get a decent windows laptop for only FL studio? or would that be a waste and am I better off just doing a bootcamp or windows equivalent?

also, is there any mac compatible programs that are similar to FL studio workflow?

ive been Djing for a couple years now, but am relatively new (getting back in) to production..

there is a free one, hold on let me find the name of it.

Linux MultiMedia System from Soundforge or something, it is supposed to be pretty good and is FREE. I havent checked it out yet...planning on it though.

I use virtualbox and boot XP concurrently. LMMS won't run VSTs on a mac.

I say use Bootcamp. If your laptop is good enough, there's no reason to buy non-Apple hardware unless you're going to sell your Macbook…they'll run Windows just fine.

Personally, I'd suggest switching to something that runs on OS X, but that's just because I'm an Apple fanboy. If you like FL and don't want to switch, dual-booting with bootcamp is your best option at this point.

Boot Camp is a safer choice.
