    Lisa Stansfield Part One

Before Adele,Alice Russell,Duffy and Joss Stone there was Lisa Stansfield. Over the course of 24 years and six albums, the British singer has amassed a collection of fantastic soulful tunes. With the majority of today's female singers being Mariah Carey clones, and non talented autotuned hacks, this mix delving into the talent that is Lisa Jane Stansfield in a must for all music lovers.

With so many solid tunes from Stansfield I decided to break the mix into two; Part One is more the souful side and Part Two features more up-tempo tunes. Part two will be released next week on Monday July 9th

I imagine he was referring to the fact that it is posted in the hip-hop section.

Hip Hop heads tend to (or should anyway) appreciate all genres of music since Hip Hop music is built on samples from every genre. I never would have pegged Hamza as a Stansfield fan either but it just proves that point. He posted it here because he assumed the well rounded heads are going to appreciate it here opposed to posting it in the mix section where every fucking beginner DJ on the planet is posting the same predictable dime a dozen listen to my first fidgit house mix and I'll rep you mix etc. Like 95% of the mixes on that sub forum, it would have gotten 9 views, no listens, and would have been pushed to page 5 within 3 hours of posting it there. I post all my mixes here for the same reason, even if its an Orb mix with only 2 Hip Hop like beats on it, because I know that some real music heads here usually are down with good music in general.
