I've been a Paramedic for 5 going on 6 years now, I'm 25, about to be married for the second time and have an awesome 4 year old son. I quit smoking almost a year ago now and my ADHD was REALLY bad, so I happened to buy an idj3 off ebay out of curiosity and absolutely fell in love with it. I've always had a passion for music, and my job obviously has taken a mental toll on me and I'm ready for a change. So DJ'ing has been my outlet for a little while now and I like this forum because everybody seems very knowledgeable and willing to share information. I been a member for a while or at least a year now. I think this my first post. I like to come here and read. Not responding or posting. Happy to be a member, even though I'm the quiet type. I been djing since the early 80's. I was teenager in the 9th grade. I have six sisters and no brothers. My sisters boyfriends was the closet thing to having brothers. One of my sisters boyfriend put me down with my first comic book. Raised with a mother and father, but my father wasn't into comic books. Another of my sisters boyfriend was the best dj I ever new in real life. I use to hook school and practice mixing and scratching in his basement. So the quest to have equipment I kept a job in school to buy my first pair of 12s. At the age of 18, I got a job as a plumbers apprentice in the union and after 4 years got my plumber license. By then I was able to afford to buy studio equipment to build my remix studio.

I give thanks to art of djing and the love of music. Without both, I might not be here to live a decent life. I would just like to introduce myself to everyone. I go by DJCornellious and I like to mix tunes. I usually do dubstep/trap/house etc. pretty much anything electronic. I am pretty small time, but I DJ for my fraternity about once a week, and other events on occasion. I am saving up some money right now to go to the Dubspot school in NYC to learn how to use Ableton and advance my DJ'ing abilities.
