Hey guys, so i have a technics turntable set up with a rane ttm-56s and looking to buy a kp3. What i want to do is change the pitch of the sound on the turntable with a expression pedal. I'm new to this so i want to make sure im setting it up right. what i plan to do is connect the koass kp3 to the rane through flexfx and have it set to the pitch effect and then use the expressional pedal to change the pitch on the turntable. would this work?

im pretty much trying to do this but with an expression pedal. if there are any other ways to get this effect please let me know thanks.

Hi,

I've just had some custom slipmats made by Criminyl. I was a bit apprehensive to buy some custom slipmats as the last ones I got were really crap. They arrived today and they are so good that I just had to tell people about them.

If you are looking for a company to print you some custom slipmats then I strongly recommend Criminyl. They also told me that they do discounts on 5 pairs and above but I'm just a bedroom DJ.

Thanks

Hi,

I have recently got an Antari X310 fazer and they insist on only using their own fluid (to the extent that if you don't it voids your warranty). I am currently using Acme Dense Fluid but would plan to use at least a fluid that Antari endorse.

I live in the UK and cannot find a supplier of Antari fluid (thick fog).

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

I really loved my AKG K167's (Tiesto headphones) before they broke today. They are light, over the ear, comfy, sound excellent, and have a coiled cable. I am frustrated after spending $180 on these in February that these broke. They broke just putting them on normally.

Any help and advice would be great. Here is what I am looking for:

Under $250.

Over the ear.

Very strong and durable.

Sound great and let me monitor well for mixing, eq, etc. I mix with both sides (L/R) on my ears.

Not too heavy, but I am not worried about a little weight.

Have a coiled cable.

The "V-Moda Crossfade LP2" looked great, and then I learned of no coiled cable. Also, I hear they have low volume. This worries me as I have felt like my current headphones connected to my Traktor Kontrol S4 could be louder.

I also looked at the AIAIAI TMA-1 headphones, but it seems these are not over the ear.

I also looked at the Pioneer HDJ 2000's. Pricy, and I am worried they will break.

Thoughts?

I went to use my Acme HP3 fogger for the first time in about 3 months and the output from it is no where near what it used to be.

I have opened it up and taken the pump apart to see if there was a blockage anywhere (and there wasn't).

I then ran distiller water and clear vinegar through it to try and clear the pipes in the heating element but that didn't work.

Any ideas, I am stumped!

Hi All,

I have a Toyota Hiace van very happy with it and its great for getting gear in and out. BUT SOMETIMES Iam stuck by myself moving HEAVY gear in & out. I can move it but in a few more years I dont know if I can iam getting OLD!!! Easy ways to getting things especially flight cases in a van alone? Tail lifter, ramps seem to difficult any ideas appreciated.

OK so the LED bars BLIZZARD Toughsticks what flight case could be used to carry say 4 at a time. They are not all that big and could probably go into a Standard DJ coffin but the coffins are very heavy and seem somewhat not for this? I dont build my own cases (SHOOT ME NOW!) i did spot some nice Aluminium trolleys for like $12.00 I thought About buying two and then fabricating some sort of case that is permanently attached to it so they can just stand up and be wheeled around. ANY IDEAS appreciated.

i also have a bunch of Battery Puck/par can lights the thin ones any great ideas on carrying 8-10 of those

Cheers
