Hey guys...

So i have started to build my new setup (thank you Andrew B :slayer:) and now that i have some great CD decks... i want to start thinking about vinyl. I dont really feel like paying $800 dollars for a pair of used technics if i can get a nice mid level deck for half the cost.

I was looking into the Stanton T.92 decks as my first choice.

I dont need anything built like a Technics in terms of the casing as these decks will only be used in my home studio, however i would like a deck that was close to the technic quality in terms of sound and strength of its direct drive motor (torque).

Can anyone please recommend a few different decks? I might be able to score the T.92's for $500 new (for a pair)

Thanks Guys

Also, not looking at the Numarks because they just look to much like toys to me. Also looking for S-Tone arm :D

To all of the TTX owners out there... dont hate me.

As far as good sound quality and strong motor, the options are nearly endless. I have heard great things about some of the Stantons.

+1 on super OEM, though it should be fairly easy to find a used top brand pair (technics or 150s )of in decent condition.

The prices for second hand decks are insane right now... No way will i drop a grand for used decks :D

Never heard of this deck?

Can anyone please give me some feedback on these decks?

Putting in an unwanted vote for the TTX. Try one out. Trust me.

Go for the Audio Technica AT-LP1240. It's the same deck as the Stanton 150, which is better than the Stanton T.92.

audio technica man. Alot better than the t92. Also have a look around fro second hand super OEM decks. I picked up a barely used american audio htd 4.5 for about $200. S shaped tonearm too.

They are really scarce. If I were going that route now, I'd just get the Audio Technica AT-LP1240.

Someone actually had a pair going pretty cheap in the For Sale section, but I don't know how legit he is

Hey i have a guy in DC super desperate to sell his tech MK2s. It might be worth it shipping included because they seem in really condition and he is willing to go as low as possible.

Really? No Reloop dealership there?

Really? No Reloop dealership there?

AFAIK U.S. Reloop distributors only carry cd/media players, mixers, and headphones.

As far as dj turntables go, we have Technics, Vestax, Stanton, Numark, Audio Technica, and DJTech. That's off the top of my head. I might have missed something.
