RUNNING DOWN THE RAIN EP

Next up on Blaubeat is an ep with a little German techno flavour, from the ever reliable Peter Wagner. The lead track is "Running Down The Rain" with its sharp percussion, energetic bassline it pushes onwards, climbing melodies & thrashing wood & drums give even more energy! "Rocker Girl" is the light to the shade of the first track.. with a funky bassline led groove, simple groovin synths & wiry pads all working around the vocal sample vocal takes. "Opposite" is a stright up 4/4 groove with nicely rounded melodic bassline, an array of percussive hats & shakes and some damn weird , freaky, but wonderful twisted rising vox samples.. lovely stuff! Last but by no means least, is "Experimenting", with jumpy little percs, sparkling hooks and bouncing drums , it slides along until the simple retro melody line enters in the breakdown.
