Hey there:
It's my first post on the new Forums, but I've been here before and had the privilege of getting feedback from these excellent forums.
So, I have this gig - a wine and chocolate event - that I decided to DJ cause I think it'll be interesting.
The girl that hired me told me that she wanted more "classy music" in her own words (I DJ'ed before for one of her events, but it was straight house, tech house, some prog house and some electro house for a dance party).
I'm thinking of going forward with some more uptempo lounge music (>100bpm) and mixing it up with some deep house around 120bpm with heavy jazz influences and then finishing it up with some pop music (she requested me to have some pop music by the end with lyrics) - I just want to get your opinion on this... is this the way to go?
Thanks a lot and its SO GOOD to have the forums back.
