Get Started In 5 Minutes

We had a simple idea. We wanted to create our mashups in 5 minutes or less, but there was no easy way to do it.

We created Mashup software to help you beatmatch tracks and save your results to new MP3 files. Add as many tracks as you want, and even create your own podcasts in it.

It's the audio editor we always wanted for Windows and Mac.

Harmonic Mashups

“Imagine a band playing together, and the singer sounds out of tune, sounds awful, right. The same with mixing.” -DJ Prince

Mashup software helps you create 100% harmonically-compatible mashups and will eliminate key clashes.

Gone are the days of learning fundamental production basics

1. Buy software
2. Ask the software to politely create you a mashup in under 5 minutes
3. ???
4. Profit

Bonus points: 5. Jesus pose

Let's face it, real DJ's nowadays use this

Traktor? SSL? ANALOGUE FORMATS? Nah.

It was inevitable there would be a production equivalent soon.

Although it is for mashups, I see this sort of thing happening for creating your own stuff real soon on those iphone apps.

Or you could use Legato mode on Ableton Live in the session view...

To be fair, anyone who plays mash ups is worse than the people who make them, who are worse than the people who are profiting from the lack of talent of people who make them

That was so funny, I give you my word that I will never again even listen to a mashup if I can help it. You know, unless it's a hip hop vocal over a new beat or something, 'cuz that shit's legit. and sometimes cra.

BTW, has anyone else actually looked at the screen shot in the freaking promo picture?

Yeah…have you noticed that nothing happens at a time that would make musical sense, no matter what the tracks were?

I'm not worried about it creating something useful. I'm just amazed that this company hasn't been ignored out of existence yet.

Mashups in my opinion close the gap between just playing reg. top 40 stuff or playing the top 40 stuff with an actual enjoyable high energy beat

software should never be used as a crutch for imagination.

"I feel like if you're a DJ you should know how to produce tracks because, we re-arrange tracks and remix tracks just from having records around. So, if you can do it at a party or make mix-tapes, you should be able to do[you know] a hot track."
- DJ Premier [Scratch, 2001]

I wouldn't really consider mash ups of this nature to be producing, it's like saying a guy with an iPod is a DJ. It's just premade transitions.

Remember when we used to like mashups? I miss those days. Girltalk was awesome but I wish it never became a genre. Or synonymous with electro remixes of crunk.

P.S. This is the best way to make mashups

mashups can be cool if played right... I seen WORLD CHAMP DJ Vajra play last night in Cincinnati and he was dropping mashup(blend)'s every other track. He was VERY impressive.

I am pretty sure the developers had a good time (creative wise) developing it nevertheless.
