I've been looking around for a good portable PA and I keep coming back to the Peavey TriFlex II Portable PA. Does anyone have any experience with it? How's the audio quality? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

B52 Matrix system does the same/similar thing doesn't it? Also i don't know if you can get them over there but Quest Audio make a similar thing as did jbl with their MPro 418SP. Or do you actually want something that all buckles together and is a bitch to get into a standard car?

The best bang for the buck for systems configured like that peavey is the B-52 Matrix 1000v2 (http://www.b-52pro.com/products/Matrix1000V2.html)

That JBL MPro 418SP is exactly what I'm looking for, but I just tried finding a place to buy it and I couldn't find it...:( Is it not available in the U.S.?

This does seem like the best bang for my buck, I'll probably end up getting it if I don't get the Peavey.

Ebay is probably your only chance, they stopped making them a while ago, this is the quest unit I was talking about. Most clubs here in Melbourne use some form of Quest equipment. http://www.questaudio.net/products/q_motion/qm-1000a.php however i don't know if you can get them in the states. It's a 600w sub with 2x 200w @8ohm outputs for satelite speakers. Ideal for small quick setups and backyard parties. I'm considering getting one for just day to day listening

Checked eBay...no luck, I would really like to get something like that Quest Audio set up. Something that will set up and tear down really quickly.

Where in California are you? I travel between Sacramento and Modesto and have a mint condition Matrix 1000 v2 for sale.
